Every year I try to pay a visit to Romsdalen in june. The higher altitude roads are open and the rivers and waterfalls are raging. And the main tourist season is yet to begin. Mid-june is a great time to visit. This year, we had scouted out a few new areas to visit in addition to the regular classics. Weather was fabulous, with wonderful hot, sunny days and great evenings and mornings for sunrise and sunset. Spending 5-6 days with photography like this is quite exhausting, given that sunset is around 2330 and sunrise around 0330. A few hours of daytime sleep between the scouting trips is mandatory to keep the energy up.

This year delivered a few good photos. The highlight was probably two consecutive days with fog in a narrow valley surrounded by high peaks. We had a blast up there for two mornings in a row. Good times!
